Ottawa native Jon Roy, was writing music from an early age, and throughout the years has become a musician and producer as well, often composing upwards of 3 songs a week.

Jon produced and released his debut album titled “Solutions To This Abstract Mind" in late 2009. Jon’s sound combines a modern acoustic feel with raw sounds of early 90s rock influences. However, he has pushed to create a significant diversity in styles throughout his music, from a gritty country feel to hard rock ensuring to put weight on the lyrical content. With his current over abundance of written material, he is no doubt going to have a sufficient amount of tunes to keep curious ears satisfied for years to come. And in 2008, to satisfy this “over abundance” he opened Convoy Productions, a production company to create his own work as well as help write and record music for other artists.

Henry David Thoreau said; “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.” In 2011, Jon (a firm believer in following your dreams) made the decision to move to Montreal in order to make music his full time endeavour and bring his talents to a new audience.
